The online workshops focus on supporting parents and carers to support their child’s positive behaviour and to manage their child’s fears, worries and big emotions more effectively. Parents are in a strong position to make changes and to have a positive influence on their child. As parents, we all progress differently, and there is no such thing as a ‘perfect parent’. You are the expert when it comes to your child, and we aim to build on that strength.
These workshops are for parents and carers to explore strategies for supporting their child with behaviour, big emotions and self-regulation. There are up to 6 online workshops spread across 5 to 6 weeks.

These online workshops are for parents and carers of primary aged children. They give parents information and techniques for supporting children who struggle with fears and worries.

The workshops are based on a book by psychologists Cathy Creswell and Lucy Willetts: "Helping Your Child with Fears and Worries". We tailor the information and techniques during each workshop to suit your child.
You will cover:
There are up to 6 sessions spread across 5 or 6 weeks. Session 4 is a 20 minute one-to-one appointment on Microsoft Teams. You will be sent the time and Teams link for this appointment nearer the time.
