What is ADHD?

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition with a range of symptoms that can cause difficulties across at least two different settings, home life, education, and/or work life.


Symptoms of ADHD

Inattention

  • Forgetful    
  • Loses things
  • Daydreams
  • Unorganised
  • Distracted          
  • Unable to concentrate          
  • Lack of focus    

Impulsivity

  • Doing or saying things before thinking them through
  • Risky behaviour
  • Interrupts
  • Difficulty waiting their turn

Hyperactivity

  • Fidgets or fiddles
  • Struggles to stay seated for long periods
  • Always on the go as if being driven by a motor
  • Chatty
