Weaning

Weaning Your Premature Baby

If your baby was born prematurely - before you were 37 weeks pregnant - you may be unsure when to start giving them food and what they can eat.

Premature babies have an ''uncorrected'' age (how old they are from the date they were born) and a ''corrected'' age (how old they are from the date they were due to be born).

This can make knowing when to wean very confusing. Watch this video from BLISS to help you know when your premature baby is ready to move on with food.
