Alyesha Reade

Hello I’m Alyesha. I’ve worked as a midwife at the JPUH since 2016, and have spent the last three and a half years supporting families as a community midwife. I’m so excited to be working in the Opal Continuity Team and to give families high quality, personalised care. As a hypnobirth practitioner, I’m passionate about giving women the knowledge and confidence to birth their babies without fear.

Outside of work I love socialising, reading and a good series binge.

Kirsti Parslow-Williams 

Hello, I’m Kirsti. As a midwife and a hypnobirth practitioner, I am an advocate for normal birth and breastfeeding. I am passionate about supporting you through your pregnancy journey into parenthood.

As a mum of three amazing children, I’m kept busy currently with homework, baking and I love to get out for a run with Winter (the family dog).

Emily Housman

My name is Emily and I feel very lucky to be part of this fantastic team of midwives who are passionate about supporting you to have a pregnancy and birth where you feel listened to, cared for and empowered! I trained to be a doula and a midwife in London, and have since become an antenatal educator, Imagery practitioner (mind-body connection), and hypopressives trainer (pelvic floor health & recovery).

After spending much of my life living abroad in warmer countries, I moved back to the Suffolk country-side in 2018 where I love my work as a midwife with women and their families (and also enjoy developing the arts of wild swimming, growing vegetables and drinking bubbly!).

Eva Edwards

Hi, I’m Eva. I grew up in rural Suffolk and am so excited that I have the opportunity to work in this area.

As a midwife I am passionate about empowering women! I love the idea of supporting women to make individualised decisions throughout pregnancy and then helping them to achieve these during birth and beyond. I look forward to working with you and your family to create positive experiences of your pregnancy and childbirth journey!

Outside of work I enjoy travel, long walks and dancing in the sunshine!

Jo Kerry

Hello, I’m Jo. I’ve been a community midwife for some years now and am an advocate for women centred care. I am really excited to be able to get to know you and your families, and supporting you through such an exciting and life changing experience! 

Away from work I have a special interest in cruising to exotic places. (I don’t mention it much!) I have a grown up family, and 2 dogs - who are thoroughly spoilt. I might also enjoy the odd bit of bubbly too!

Donna Broome

Hi I’m Donna, I have worked for the James Paget as a community midwife for many years and I am very much looking forward to providing support, advice and care to women and their families as part of the Opal continuity team.

I‘m married, have 3 grown up children and an old fluff ball for a dog! For hobbies I enjoy reading, long weekend walks, eating out and snowboarding (providing I can still fit in my salopettes after all the eating out!). I love a good giggle with friends, family, colleagues and with the women I care for. My goal is to ensure all our women have the most positive childbearing journey possible
