Welcome to Session 3 of Pathway to Parenting. During the session you can pause at any time to take part in an activity or watch a video clip.

This session will cover

  • Feeling prepared for labour.
  • Labour, surges and positions for labour.
  • When nature needs a helping hand.
  • Pain relief options for your labour.
  • The importance of your birthing partner’s role.
  • The first few hours after your baby is born.

You can contact your community midwife using the number given at your booking appointment. They will be able to answer any questions you may have throughout your pregnancy.
