ChatHealth

ChatHealth is a secure NHS approved text messaging service for 11- 19 year olds.

All Norfolk young people aged 11 – 19 year olds can text 07480 635060 to start a conversation with a trained health professional.

  • You can chat about a mental or physical health worry or question you have.
  • Your text will be answered by a member of the 5-19 team in the Norfolk Healthy Child Programme.
  • They will answer your questions and offer confidential support and advice.
  • If you need more support, or they feel worried about your wellbeing, they can talk through the different options available to you.

ChatHealth is available;

  • 9:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday
  • 9:00am - 1:00pm on Saturdays.
  • Closed Sundays and bank holidays.

If your message is sent out of hours you will get an automated response. This will let you know when you will get a reply. It will also explain who to contact to get help straight away.

ChatHealth Ambassadors

We want everyone to know about ChatHealth. We are always looking for young people to be ChatHealth Ambassadors. This helps us raise awareness of the service in schools. We give our ChatHealth Ambassador support and training so they feel confident to informally discuss some of the most common topics discussed. These include emotional health, relationship advice, healthy eating, smoking cessation, bullying and exam stress.

If you are student, school, college or a parent and would like to get to know more about the role *click here* to get in touch.

ChatHealth Havens

If you would like your school to become a ChatHealth haven, get in touch! We will provide you with promotional materials and your school will be added to the map. Below are some materials to download.
