Staying Safe From Harm
Families want their children to have happy and healthy childhoods but sometimes they need more support to do this.
We all have a duty to protect children and this section will help you to access support if you are concerned that a child or young person is at risk of harm.
Some worries you may have about a child...

Who Can Help?
The NSPCC is a registered charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK. On their website you can find advice on how you can keep children safe, where to go for help, and the latest news stories relating to child safety.
We all have a duty to protect children and young people from harm. If you hear something or see something that makes you feel worried about a child living nearby, please contact 0344 800 8020.
If you think a child is in immediate danger contact the police on 999.
If a child is not in immediate danger but at risk of harm contact the Norfolk Children's Advice and Duty Service (CADS) on 0344 800 8020. Children's Services will listen to your call. They may act immediately to keep a child safe and they also work with families to offer support at difficult times.
You can also contact a member of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme by calling Just One Number on 0300 300 0123 or texting Parentline on 07520631590. Our opening hours are 8am-6pm Monday-Friday (excluding bank holidays) and 9am-1pm on Saturdays.
