BBC Lockdown Learning
Lockdown can be a difficult time with children off school due to school closures. Most schools are continuing to teach online. If you do not have access to a computer or device with the internet, the BBC is offering curriculum-based TV programmes on BBC Two, CBBC and I-player to run alongside its BBC Bitesize online content.
Primary school pupils
CBBC will show BBC Bitesize Daily as well as popular shows such as;
- Our School
- Celebrity Supply Teacher
- Horrible Histories
- Art Ninja
- Operation Ouch.
These will be shown between 09.00 and 12.00 every weekday.
Secondary school pupils
BBC Two will show programmes, with new content to support the curriculum, including drama, science, history and documentaries. These will be shown between 13:00 and 15:00 every weekday.
The learning schedule will be updated every week and can be seen *here*.
You can also access educational content in the areas listed below;
- Red Button - the Bitesize Daily lessons will also be shown on the Red Button service on TV.
