COVID-19 Vaccinations for Carers
If you are a carer, you are eligible to be vaccinated and should receive a letter or phone call to book an appointment.
If you haven't received an appointment booking request, this may be because you are not registered as a carer with the GP, or may not be registered for carers allowance or benefits.
You are still able to be vaccinated and should register your contact details by completing this online form in order to get an appointment. The data you provide will be stored by Norfolk County Council and shared with the NHS, to enable them to note that you are a carer on their records and arrange your vaccine.
To be eligible you must be;
- The parents or primary carers of children and young people who are disabled and are clinically vulnerable to COVID-19.
- Young carers aged 16+ of people who are elderly or clinically vulnerable.
- Caring for someone with severe mental illness.
To find out if you are eligible, visit http://apps.norfolk.gov.uk/carervax or contact your local healthcare services between now and 31 March to register yourself as a carer.
